Your inner child gives you the courage to meet the world with a child’s mind of light, love, happiness, and excitement. A child sees everyday as a new day full of excitement and adventure. It brings your natural energy of good, light, and inner truth out.
Even its color is unique, fun, and interesting. It’s slightly green, slightly gold, a little bit brown, slightly yellow, a little white after a good polish, and most often has a blackish tint. Brass has a likeness of many colors when viewed in different lights. It’s like looking into a polished bowl of a swamp or a marsh, full of mysteries, playfulness, and adventures.
Thinking of Brass’s absolutely amazing colors and its playful nature reminds me of the obnoxious little playful boy fascinated with everything yucky. If you are unfamiliar with what I’m talking about, this is how it goes. Boys go through this developmental stage of finding or making the stinkiest smell and exposing their friends to it, most often unbeknownst to them of what’s coming. “Pull my finger” lol Finding the yuckiest things to show off. Whoever wins with the stinkiest, yuckiest, or slimmest thing proudly wins the badge of honor, until the next round.
Brass is about clearing away the old, so you can get down to your inner purity and truth without everything society has told you, you have to be. It’s inherently antimicrobial and antibacterial, meaning its surfaces are continuously killing bacteria. It’s most often sought after for many favorable aspects. Brass is far cheaper than Gold, it looks a lot like it, it’s a lot stronger and doesn’t weigh as much, so its likeness to gold in just about everything has been highly used since the 3rd millennium BC (3000-2001 BC). However, some believe it’s been used for closer to 8000 years. Its antimicrobial superpowers have been used in medical tools and surfaces since Antiquity (1). The earliest surviving written record, around 1500 BC, of using brass’s super antimicrobial power was found in the Smith papyrus for preventing water fouling and treating infection, according to an article in the National Library of Medicine (1). It often amazed me how many centuries Silver, copper, and Brass coins have been used to keep liquids from spoiling. Throw a silver coin in the bottom of the milk jug.
