Chalcedony is a precious gemstone that has been sought after for thousands of years across the world. It comes in many other forms of commonly known semi precious gemstones. These stones include all Jaspers, agates and onyx just to name the tiniest sample of the massive range of stones that are actually a colored form of Chalcedony. Chalcedony and quartz are actually chemically identical and have similar calming and protective energies. The difference between the two is, quartz is naturally forming and chalcedony is formed from high pressurized organic material that has been submerged within water primer to fossilization.
