What are Metaphysical Energies?

All stones, metals, and crystals have natural energies. These energies have even been measured by modern science for multiple uses. Unfortunately, as of yet we are not able to fully harness them for a clean long term energy source. Our bodies, however, do absorb and use these energies naturally. We can benefit greatly from them simply by wearing them, carrying them in our pockets, or even simply placing them in our homes and gardens. Used obsidian for getting back to your true authentic self and healing past trauma. Obsidian is a strong protective stone. Blocking & shield against negativity and psychic attacks. It absorbs the negative energies from the environment, including you, while shielding you from new negative energies coming in. It draws out mental stress and tension. It stimulates growth on all levels. 

Obsidian is the birthstone for sagittarius and scorpio. These birth signs will naturally flow and connect and find comfort with this stone. 

Obsidian is one of those stones that can aid, shield, protect, and enhance in so many ways and areas that I will only be covering a portion of its metaphysical abilities. Keep in mind this powerful stone, the same as any other stone. It will always stick to its base energies, but it is going to vary and change its energies as you change, what you need, what energies you feed yourself, and as surrounding environmental energies change.

Obsidian is for getting back in touch with yourself the real you buried underneath all the layers society has made you think you were. Use side by side with shadow work as you heal past trauma for a deeper and heart healing effect. 1st by facing, 2nd healing the wounds, and lastly moving on from it. Black is a spiritual color of protection from negative energies moving into your field l, but also by removing them from you. Use "smooth of any sharp edges Obsidian" for restful, protected dreams from negative energy attacks while sleeping, dream walking, and/or transcending. 

This is a powerful stone that may be too much for everyday use if you are deep into your shadow work, because it forces you to face the truth of the problems in your life. Having said that it's helping you overcome and heal your own negative past or actions, while also protecting you from new negative energies. Facing the negative parts of our past is not easy. It should be done gently, patiently and over time. The beautiful side of shadow work is when you unbiasedly face the full truth, it reveals how those experiences have helped you grow, what you are truly capable of, and how strong you are.

Forcing yourself to face too much before you've had time to fully heal from one to the next can break you. Reliving the past to heal it gives you the medication to treat the infection from the wounds of trauma, but it still takes time to heal from it. Use this stone to aid in your shadow work in stages and as it calls to you, M'Dear.

Snowflake Obsidian is Obsidian with Snowflake crystalline inclusions. It has all energies of pure Obsidian combinated with the crystalline inclusions. It opens your 3rd eye and Enhances your intuition. It can be extremely helpful with recalling past lives and chasing away negativity from your field during meditation. Chase away demons. Rebalancing you with your Yin and Yang by purifying, grounding, and embodying them in your mind, body, and aura fields. 

This stone works on a deep natural level for Capricorn birth signs. If you are a Cappy, this stone could be used in place of your birthstones because of your natural connection and flow with it.

Place them next to your bed or under your pillow. Some jewelry can even be worn such as rings and round beaded bracelets. Anytime you use stones to aid in dreams, sharp stones are often advised to be avoided. Use polished or smooth stones for a gentle experience. Sharp tips may harshly rip or cut through, rather than gently leading you through. It all varys and depends on what you are facing and the desired outcome. 

When using stones for dreams, as with any energy working, educate yourself 1st from a trusted spiritual advisor specialized in stones and dream working. Ignorance is not bliss. It's better to understand and know what you are doing before doing. Learning the hard way is just that. Hard. I'm not an expert in dream working, merely a student of its complexities who has found aid and solace in its study.
